- New: Thursday Junior Randori Session (5:30 - 6:30pm)
From Thursday 18 February we will be trialling a junior randori session.The class is open to those who attend the 7pm to 8pm Wednesday session, and will focus mainly on free practice. The aims of the randori class include preparation for taking part in competitions, and providing a transition to the senior classes.

March Competitions
There are three competitions coming up this month. First is the East Coast Open in Gisborne on 20/21 March, followed by the Queensland Open on 27/28 March.
For our many juniors, the first Judokwai competition of the year will be held on Sunday 28 March at the club. There is a notice on the board or you can talk to your coach or contact Martin for further information. This is an ideal opportunity for everyone, especially those who have never taken part in a competition before, to have a go in a relaxed and non-threatening environment.
Term Dates:
The last junior training session for Term 1 will be Wednesday 31 March, resuming on Wednesday 24 April; in line with the school term.
It is planned to continue the Thursday Junior Randori session through the break, in line with senior classes.
